Germ
Germ is primarily used for edible germ oil production and various industrial applications, including defoaming agents in fermentation, lubricants in textiles, rubber fillers, emulsifying and oxidizing agents in chemicals. It also serves as a raw material for producing linoleic acid and ethyl linoleate.Corn steeping liquid is mainly used as culture of producing antibiotics and other fermentation.

Gravity Arc Screen
MKGS series gravity arc screen is a high-efficiency stationary sieving equipment. The sieve surface is made up with stainless steel wedged rods in arc shape. It can be applied in the sieving situation with large processing capacity for separating, sieving, dewatering, washing, extracting and impurities removing, etc. It is an ideal and important equipment in the starch industry for corn dewatering, germ dewatering and washing, coarse or fine dregs (fiber) separating, etc.

Pressure Arc Screen

Degerminator
MKDG series convex-tooth corn degerminator is one kind of rough-smashing equipment for starch wet-process production, mainly used for smashing of steeped corn kernels with germ to separate the germ from husks and endosperm, so as to improve the degerming rate. The disc of the degerminator is made of magnesium iron and alloy, is adjustable in spacing, rational structure, reliable seal. stable performance, high yield, low energy consumption, convenient in operation and maintenance, and with self protection function.
Germ cyclone
MKGC series germ cyclone is mainly applied for germ separation in corn starch production. Based on the centrifugal force, after entering from the feed port along tangent, the heavy phase of the material is discharged from the bottom and light phase is discharged from the top to separate. It features in neat design, compact structure and high degermination efficiency. It is usually connected in series or parallel to meet the different processes.
Squeezer
MKSQ series squeezer is applied for dewatering the fiber and germ in corn starch production. It can dewater the rough fiber and germ which are separated in corn starch production effectively. The remained process water after squeezing is reused by the previous stage, which reduces the washing loss and increases the starch recovery. Moreover, it could improve the producing condition and the economic benefit of by-product.
This equipment is compact structure and stable operation. It is cone-shaped for the outer of main machine helical blade. By this way, Double compression is produced from vertically and horizontally by blade, which push the material to squeeze, and water is discharged from the leaking shell with sieve plate. Dewatered material is discharged from outlet. Inlet and leaking shell are equipped with water hopper and discharging pipe, which is convenient for recycling and washing.
Bundle Dryer
MKBD series bundle dryer is one kind of indirect heating dryers. which can work in countercurrent way or forward current way. It is widely used in chemical industry, light industry, food industry and feed industry.
It is specially designed for processing some loose non-sticky materials, such as corn germ, fiber and gluten in starch
industry, DDGS in ethanol industry, some fertilizer powder and inorganic mineral material in chemical industry, scraps of fish and shrimp in fisheries, etc.
Pin Mill
MKPM series pin mill is widely used in corn starch, potato starch, and
other related industries. It is featured in the advantages as below: simplifying the process of starch production, improving the rate of starch collection and having the outstanding economic benefits. The material enters to the pulverizing chamber from the upper feeding hole and the thin slurry goes into the rotor center through the pipes on the right and left side, then the material and thin slurry will be dispersed in the working chamber by the centrifugal force, and impacted and milled violently by a rotating needle and a fixed needle, which separates most of the starch and fiber. As the fiber is smashed incompletely during the milling, most of the fiber will be made into fine pieces. After processing, the material has a high proportion between the coarse dregs and the fine dregs, which is from 2.5:1 to 3:1. The starch can be maximum separated from the fiber pieces and the protein can be separated from the starch milk easily in later process. The paste produced by the pin mill is discharged from the outlet, then finish the fine milling process.
Disc Separator/Concentrator
MKDS series disc separator/concentrator is mainly applied for separating gluten from starch and concer trating gluten. It is featured in the advantages as below:
Big drum diameter and large area of disc ensure the excellent effect of separation and con- centration. Top-suspension driving design ensures the separator running stably and improves the life of bearings and main shaft extremely. Automatic control of lubricating system can
prolong the service life of driving system. Big nozzle design increases the feeding capacity, reduces the chances of block and assures the continuous production. Lifting drum with the hydraulic system is convenient for drum inspection and nozzle replacement. The material of drum is made by special high-strength and corrosion-proof stainless steel which assures the safety and stability of the separator. This machine can process various concentration of materials without internal adjustment. It is equipped with inner circulation system, which keeps separation running stably and improves the accuracy of adjusting and controlling.
Hydro-cyclone
MKHC series hydro-cyclone is widely used in starch industry and similar industries. It usually uses 7-16 stages. Starch milk is fed from the first stage and conveyed through each stage in sequence, then discharged from the last stage finally. Washing water is fed from feeding pump of the last stage and backflowed in sequence to the first stage, then overflowed finally. The
function of the equipment is to remove the soluble or insoluble impurities (mainly are pro- tein) in the starch milk.
Hydro-cyclone unit combines multiple-stage cyclones based on certain configuration and each cyclone consists of several parallel-connected cyclonettes with small diam- eter. A certain amount of cyclonettes and one feeding pump are installed according to different processing function in the whole hydro-cyclone unit. Based on the basis of pro- cessing requirement, the certain instruments such as pressure gauge is equipped. It makes the whole process as one independent system by the equipment combining with related piping features in compact structure and simple installation.
In order to make sure the protein content is less than 0.5% in starch milk, hydro-cyclone must be nine stages at least when produces cereal starch and seven stages at least MK when produces tuber starch. When the protein content in rough starch milk from disc separator is less than 2.5%, the protein content in refined starch production could be less than 0.45%, based on the above-mentioned conditions.
Peeler Centrifuge
MKPC series peeler centrifuge is a horizontal dewatering machine with automatic controlling scraper unloading and siphon filtering. In order to speed up filtering, it makes use of the dual effects of centrifugal force as well as siphonic force to enhance the filtering activity. As a result, it can be shorten separating time and gain higher production rate and lower moisture in residue. It is widely used in separation of the material which has a small solid-phase-size and low density when the material is difficult to be separated. And its features are as below:
Filtering speed can be adjusted freely, which make the material be equally scattered on the filter medium. By this way, the vibration and noise can be reduced greatly.

The inconvenience of changing the friction slice frequently is avoided by using hydraulic coupling or frequency converter transmission.

Filter Press
MKFP series filter press is the gluten dewatering machine used in corn starch process. It is equipped with PLC, relay control and many other safety-guarding devices, therefore the operation will be automatic and easy to control, and the operator will work safely. Girder is equipped with abrasion-proof nonmetallic tracks, which are formed in one piece. It adopts bridge-type flexible frame and is the suitable for solid and liquid separation.
Belt- Discharge Vacuum Filter
The belt-discharge vacuum filter is used for dehydration, achieving continuous filtration and automatic discharge on vacuum condition.

Tube Evaporator
MKTE series multiple-effect falling film evaporator concentrates the solution by means of vaporizing the thin solution through film-falling principle. It introduces continuous production and it features in high concentration ratio (1/5-1/10), large viscosity scope (>400CP), good heat-transferring effect. large processing capacity, etc. In this case, it can be introduced on vaporizing materials which are high heating sensibility, high concentration, high viscosity and corrosive. Therefore, it is widely used for concen- trating corn steeping liquid in starch industry, glucose
and maltose, juice and MSG liquid in food industry, milk liquid in dairy industry, as well as DDGS in alcohol industry. The equipment is higher heat-transferring ratio, so the temperature difference requested is small. It can be combined into double, triple, four-effect, or multi-effect evaporating system on the basis of different material characteristics and evaporating concentration. In addition, it can be used as waste-heat evaporator with the resources of waste steam from bundle dryer or other heating resources with low thermal value such as condensated steam. In this way, raw steam consumption can be greatly reduced for energy saving. It is economically beneficial when waste steam can be completely used and raw steam is saved.
Plate Evaporator
MKPE series evaporator is multi-effect falling film evaporator. The flow- chart is reasonable and the effection of energy conservation is remark- able. For five-effect evaporator, if 1kg water is evaporated, the steam consumption will be 0.17kg. If the device adds the TVR for the second-
ary steam, when the compression ratio is 1:1, the evaporation capacity will equal to adding effection of one effect. At this situation, if 1kg water is evaporated, the steam consumption will be 0.15kg. If the device adds MVR for the secondary steam, the steam consumption will reach to zero. It is high effective, closed, fast and low temperature evaporation. It is especialy suitable for the concentration of food grade material which is high protein and strong thermosensitive. It can ensure that the color, flavor and taste of raw material will be remained after evaporation. It is controlled by PLC adding touch panel and computer, which can reach to automatic operation. The operation of the device is flexable. The capacity of the device can be adjusted by adding or reducing the plate. It takes plate constructure, convenient installation and maintaining, small area, low height and easy operation.
Air Dryer
MKAD series air dryer is the ideal equipment for drying starch, modified starch and wheat gluten in starch industry. Starch dried by this equipment features in clean appearance, glossy luster, smooth powder and stable moisture while wheat gluten features in high water absorption, excellent activity and original flavor. This equipment can be designed and produced based on customers’
requests on space and warehouse, which is convenient for installation, operation and maintenance.
Air speed is continuously changed because of different section diameters of pulse tubes, therefore heat transfer coefficient is high and mass materials can be dried well. Ring-type air dryer is especially designed for wheat gluten and B starch, which could ensure complete dryness and product refining. The average drying time is only a few seconds when it is running well. Drying temperature can be adjusted according to material characteristics. The equipment features in simple structure, easy operation, low investment, and compactness.
