Description

Higher Reliability in Urban and Rural Water Distribution Systems

 The thin-walled LPs are a new generation of ductile iron pipes with less wall thickness than those of Titan’s ductile pipes. Therefore, their use in drinking water distribution system is the much more logical, engi-neered and economical due to the dramatic reduction in weight.

 Since the ductile iron pipes is the preferred option for drinking water lines, the LPs has been the best re-placement for polymeric pipes in drinking water distribution lines, along with all the advantages of its duc-tile iron such that it has eliminated many deficiencies and limitations in the polymer pipes, such as restric-tions on outdoor maintenance and storage, environmental issues, higher maintenance due to the fracture and leakage of polymeric pipes, and so on.

Standards

The LPs is manufactured and supplied according to the Yasmin group factory standard, complying with the international standard ISO 16631-2016 and the national standard INSO 21376 with 3-4 mm nominal thickness. Other product specifications, such as external coating, interior lining, etc., are in accordance with ISO 8179 and ISO 4179 international standards and EN 545: 2010.

Applications Ductile Iron Light Weight Pipe – L.Pipe  :

  • A suitable replacement for polymer pipes in the drinking water distribution system;
  • The best option in low-pressure distribution lines;
  • Easy to carry in hard to reach areas by hand where it’s difficult to carry normal weight pipes;
