Description

Flanged fittings are a kind of fitting used to connect cast iron pipes and valves. These fittings are used for designing and building water supply networks, and transferring between different pipes. Moreover, one of the specialized applications of these fittings is connecting metal pipes to polyethylene pipes.

To this end, first the flanged part is welded to the flange; then, one side of the fitting is screwed to the end of the metal pipe and the other side is screwed to the polyethylene pipe, and the connection is made in this manner. This way, the connection is reinforced while the pipeline sees no damage.
