Description

A centrifugal pump is used to power the MHOP hot oil pump. This pump has an extremely unique design. This pump is designed for oil circulation and pumping at temperatures of up to 300°C. Centrifugal suction is used in this horizontal single-story pump. A scroll shell forms the chamber of this pump.

The following are the characteristics of the pump :

  • Pump impeller: It is well-balanced hydraulically.
  • Installing the impeller: Pendant-shaped.
  • Scroll shell: Mounted.

With two deep groove bearings, this pump is capable of pumping any type of oil up to 300 degrees Celsius.

Sealing the shaft of this pump is a two-step process that occurs in the sealing chamber of the pump, which is accessible via the chamber’s cover. A refractory graphite tape is used to seal the shaft, and a mechanical seal is used to seal the bearing chamber’s end.
