Tyton Fittings

Description

Tyton fittings are used for water transfer and connecting different fittings and pipes. Special washers should be used in these fittings for irrigation purposes or in other different industries. Overall, tyton fittings are produced and supplied in different types such as: tee fittings, wyes, elbow fittings, crosses, kevlars, socket weld flanges, adapters, and spigot flanges.

In general, a specific washer must be used in each fitting. In flanged fittings, usually plastic washers are used in order to increase resistance and strength between the two flanges. Similar to other water transfer fittings and equipment, tyton fittings are produced according to the ISO2531 and EN545 standards.
