Description
Vertical sleeve valves are one type of dam outlet valve that can easily and inexpensively control downstream irrigation canals. These valves are installed within the concrete pool, where energy is dissipated and water is transferred to irrigation canals upon entry. A vertical sleeve valve is used to regulate the flow of water into the canals. These valves are manufactured to order in sizes ranging from 400 to 2000 mm in diameter.
